My Story
Why LSU?
I joined LSU because I wanted to challenge myself in ways I hadn’t been challenged before. With roots in Barbados, I also wanted to enlighten others about the diversity within this amazing fraternity—and personally prove that while LSU is called a “Latino Fraternity,” it is not Latino-exclusive. Most importantly, I wanted to be part of a family of brothers who treated me like one of their own—even before I had letters.
What’s special about Onyota?
The brotherhood that exists at Utica College has truly become my home away from home. Every brother in the chapter has influenced me in some way, shape, or form to become a better person—and that’s why I appreciate this chapter to the fullest.
How can you relate to the chapter motto?
I believe I can change the world by embracing and sharing my comedic personality. In a world full of negativity, I can make a difference—one smile at a time—through humor, genuine energy, and most importantly, by being unapologetically myself.
